Septembers Locum of the Month

We are over the moon that Tiffany is this Months locum of the Month!

Tiffany is one of our Ambulance Care Assistants, who first joined the MyMedic team last spring. She was nominated for her continuous hard work and dedication to service uses. Colleagues also highlighted that Tiffany is incredibly helpful and supportive to her peers and management at the services she works with.

We asked Tiffany, why choose a career in the medical world, why she ventured into Locum work and what she thinks of MyMedic.

I have always wanted to be apart of the ambulance service and I aspire to work my way up and achieve becoming a Paramedic when the time is right. I started off doing Patient transport moved to London and gained experience within the private ambulance sector and explored the Mental Health sector which I have great passion for, additionally to that I trained to become a Technician for paediatric retrievals which covered a wide area south of the Thames. I embarked on this journey as in the future the experience I gained will have significant relevance to delivering this level of care to my family. 

Moving back from London to Lincolnshire I was recommended to MyMedic and became a locum and I haven’t looked back!! I have been with them for over a year now and the whole team are every definition of care, we are treated as an individual and not just a number on the books!! I will personally continue to recommend such an amazing agency to be a part off. They are all so supportive and will always go above and beyond to support personal circumstances. Locums I have met on my journey with My Medic are such a pleasure to work with and all have the same work ethic as myself.

Benefits of being a locum for me personally is the flexibility and the ability to have a work and home life balance. The onboarding process is supported from start to finish and you are always supported by management. The app is very easy to use, from seeing available upcoming shifts to submission on time sheets and pay is always on time and the bonus scheme is amazing. My advice for anyone looking for work within the healthcare sector MyMedic will support you every step of the way. 5 stars from me!!
